Our Wedding

Where should I stay to be close to the wedding activities?We highly encourage booking a place in San José del Cabo (rather than Cabo San Lucas), as all wedding events will be held in that area. Please visit the "Travel" page for more information and hotel options.

What should I wear to the wedding?The wedding attire is beach semi-formal. Women: think pastels, prints, florals, etc. (have fun with it), highly recommend wedges/block heels/flats. Men: think linen, light shirt, floral/patterns (have fun with it), tie optional, jacket optional. The wedding will take place at an outside venue. Please be prepared to walk on gravel and grass.

Can I bring a plus one?We truly wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to venue capacity limits, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on each invitation. If a plus one was not included in your invitation, we’re unfortunately unable to extend one at this time.

Are kids invited to the wedding?We love your little ones, but the Saturday wedding ceremony and celebration are adult-only. If you plan to bring your kids, we recommend bringing a family member or having a plan for the night of the wedding.

Is there transportation to the wedding?Yes, we’ll have shuttles to the wedding venue for all guests from Flamboyan. Please meet in the lobby at 4:45pm.

Do I need a passport?Yes! Make sure yours isn’t expired or expiring within 6 months.

Will there be other events besides the wedding?Yes! All wedding guests are invited to the welcome dinner on Friday, hosted by Bobbi and Jeff Sutton - please RSVP for this event. All other activities are optional and at guests’ own expense (or may be free depending on the activity). We are planning some fun extras like a beach day, golf outing and more. Check out our email for more details on activities.

What is the weather in San José del Cabo in April?Daytime highs: 80 - 90°F (warm and sunny)Evening lows: 60 - 75°F (cool and comfortable at night) April is one of the best times to visit San José del Cabo. Bring light, breathable clothes for the day, and a light sweater or jacket for the evenings.

Thursday Golfing

We recommend checking out the Art Walk (5-9pm) in downtown San José del Cabo. It's super fun—think local artists, colorful galleries and cool little shops all open late. It does get busy, so if you want to grab dinner, we recommend making a reservation in town sooner rather than later.

Thursday Night Art Walk

We’re renting cabanas and lounge chairs at Veleros Beach Club on Friday at 11am - 3pm. It's a great spot to swim in the ocean, rent paddle boards and it’s kid-friendly. We'll share the details about Veleros directly via email.

Friday Beach Day at Veleros Beach Club

This is a cute spa a block away from Flamboyan and you get 10% of all services if you’re staying at the hotel. They have a sauna, cold plunge, massages, mani/pedi, hair services, etc. We recommend booking a service early (as soon as possible) to ensure your spot. Prices on their website are in pesos.

Important Note: We highly recommend booking your flights and hotel as soon as possible. April is high season and things are already starting to book up fast.

This is the best airport to fly into to get to San José del Cabo. For people flying Southwest, this is the same airport listed as Los Cabos, Mexico (SJD).

We’ll be staying at Flamboyan. They currently have a few more rooms available. We have also seen some good Airbnb rentals in the area that are really nice and reasonably priced.

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT HOTEL LOCATION

Feel free to choose a hotel that best suits your preferences. Please keep in mind that all wedding events will be held in San José del Cabo, not Cabo San Lucas. We recommend staying in San José del Cabo, as ongoing construction and traffic can make travel between the two areas take up to 45 minutes.
